Over the past few years Haiti’s infrastructure, land and population were damaged by two major natural disasters. On January 12th, 2010, a devastating earthquake with a magnitude of 7.3 struck Haiti. More than 220,000 people were killed and over 300,000 injured. The massive earthquake, left more than 1.5 million people homeless. On October 4th, 2016, Hurricane Matthew struck southwestern Haiti, killing over 1,000 people and destroying 90% of the south region.
Since then Heirs of Salvation, a nonprofit and philanthropic organization established to promote health, education, sports to implement sustainable skill training that creates opportunity for a brighter future, has come together to restore and improve the quality of life in Haiti. On December 2011, Heirs of Salvation bought a parcel of land in Leogane, Haiti to build a development center in an effort to provide the necessary education to both youth & adults. HOS also donated over 50 boxes of clothing, can goods, toiletries, and tools for the aftermath of Hurricane Matthew.
My team, in conjunction with Heirs of Salvation, and myself are putting together a Haiti benefit relief concert to raise funds for Haiti’s restoration. Our goal is raise as much money and collect as many items as possible, to rebuild homes and feed the people in Haiti.
We would love to have Live Nation on board as sponsors for the event. Your contribution will help Haiti get back on its feet. Please review to deck attached and contact us with any questions. Hope to hear from you soon!
